SBU detained buses with "titushkas" in Kharkiv region

They wanted to destabilize the situation and create a "picture" for the Russian media

Employees of the Security Service of Ukraine, within the framework of large-scale anti-terrorist exercises in the Kharkiv region, stopped the penetration of several groups of "tites" into the territory of the region, totaling more than 60 people. This was reported in the SBU press center.

Buses with "titushkas" were detained at the entrances to Kharkiv from Donetsk, Dnipro and Poltava.

"All these persons are recognized as residents of other regions of Ukraine and have no relation to Kharkiv region," law enforcement officers noted.

According to available information, these groups were sent to Kharkov by order of one of the pro-Russian political forces of Ukraine to hold protest actions in the city, as well as to provoke public discontent and mass illegal actions during the next session of the Kharkov City Council.

These actions were supposed to destabilize the socio-political situation in the region and create a "picture" favorable to the Russian leadership to justify possible acts of aggression by the Russian Federation against Ukraine.
