Chernihiv region is the second largest region of Ukraine with beautiful nature and many architectural monuments. It is in the Chernihiv region that the northernmost point of Ukraine is located, and here the borders of three states - Ukraine, Russia and Belarus - meet. The region is rich in famous personalities and a hardworking population.
Experts National rating of influence "Elite of Ukraine"-2021 made a list 20 most influential people of Chernihiv region. It included representatives of local authorities, deputies, law enforcement officers and businessmen.
The palm of the championship was awarded by the majority of experts to Chernihiv City Mayor Vladyslav Atroshenko. He has been in charge of the city since 2015 and won the last election with an impressive vote of confidence - 77,5%. Atroshenko is one of the most wealthy Ukrainian mayors. At the same time, he was a member of Yushchenko's, Yanukovych's, and Poroshenko's teams. According to some information, it was he who gave the same "golden loaf" to Yanukovych. Nevertheless, in the ranking of Ukrainian cities in terms of quality of life, Chernihiv confidently rose to the fourth position, which explains the high confidence of the people in the mayor and his leadership abilities. Moreover, a relative consensus between various branches of power and groups of influence is preserved in the city.
In second place Pavel Halimon, People's Deputy of Ukraine of the XNUMXth convocation, chairman of the regional organization of the "Servant of the People" party, former agrarian businessman.
The experts awarded the third place to the chairman of the Chernihiv Regional State Administration Vyacheslav Chaus, who was appointed to the position in August 2021. Chaus worked as a top manager at Kyivstar, Ukrtelecom and Ukrgazdobycha companies.
The fourth position of the rating is headed by Oleg Lyashko, ex-people's deputy, leader of the Radical Party. For Oleg Valerievich, Chernihiv region is his native region. Despite the fact that in the by-elections to the Verkhovna Rada he lost to the "servant of the people" Gunko, he did not lose his influence and business interests in the region.
He became the fifth among the most influential in the Chernihiv region Valery Kulych, co-founder of the Forsazh group of agricultural companies, business partner of Vladyslav Atroshenko, ex-governor in 2015-2018.
