An earthquake with a magnitude of 4,4 occurred on January 16 in the territory of Romania in the area of the Vranca Mountains. This was reported to the State Service of Ukraine for Emergency Situations.
The earthquake was recorded 125 km from the border with Ukraine, at a depth of 130 km. It spread to the territory of the Izmail district of the Odesa region.
No negative consequences were recorded as a result of the earthquake. Appeals from citizens to the State Emergency Service were not accepted.
