During complex water rescue exercises, which started at noon on June 24 on Odesa's Langheron beach, the floating body of an elderly woman was accidentally discovered.
The drowned woman's personal belongings were cordoned off with a special tape, now law enforcement officers are establishing her identity.
Due to the incident, the exercises were canceled and postponed to the next day.
We note that a day earlier, a young man 30-35 years old drowned not far from the nearby beach "Otrada" in Odessa. According to the preliminary version, the vacationer jumped into the sea from the pier and received a fatal injury.
