In Odessa, a murder occurred at night - a man killed his mother, who scolded him for his addiction to alcohol. This was reported by the press service of the GUNP in the Odesa region.
According to neighbors, the man was intoxicated during the quarrel and murder of his mother. They heard how the woman scolded her son for his addiction to alcohol. The downstairs neighbor said that the son and his mother bought a five-story apartment and lived in the house for less than a year.
"They never had noise. The son is healthy, about 1,90 cm. He is calm, but he often drank in the front room and sat in restaurants. He always had a bottle of vodka and water in his hands. All. But I never saw him being very drunk or hooliganizing," Gennady said.
Yesterday, around 23:00 p.m., neighbors heard screams from their apartment on the fifth floor. At half past one in the morning, the police were informed about female screams in an apartment on Lustdorfskaya Road. Arriving at the scene, the law enforcement officers found the dead body of an elderly woman. The pensioner was lying on the stairs between the floors.
"Yesterday I sat watching TV in an armchair. They were never noisy. You know when he's drunk or something. And yesterday I heard a "bang" - the body fell. Then I hear a woman's scream for about 5 minutes. Then it's quiet. I can hear him walking around the apartment. They have the same apartment as mine. Then a scream was heard from the corridor. He apparently dragged her out of the apartment. Well, then I took it and called the police," said the neighbor downstairs.
The man pulled his mother down the stairs and calmly left. At this time, the police arrived. Right away, the law enforcement officers did not realize that this was the suspect, having run away with him.
As the investigators established, the deceased was 76 years old. The police suspect her 48-year-old son of murder.
The police detained the accused when he returned home this afternoon. Now he is in a temporary detention facility until a restraining order is chosen for him.
