Due to bad weather in the Odesa region, a four-kilometer traffic jam of 05 large-sized vehicles was formed on the M-100 Kyiv-Odessa highway, the press service of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine reports.
"Near the village of Petrovovka, Shiryaevsky District, Odesa Region, on the M-05 Kyiv-Odessa highway, a traffic jam of large-sized vehicles (about 100 vehicles, about 4 km) was formed due to drifts and ice. Snow removal equipment works. Traffic is blocked," said a message on the department's Facebook page.
In addition, a traffic jam of large vehicles (up to 15 units, about 15 km) was also formed in the village of Mayaki, Belyaevsky district, on the highway M-50 Odessa - Reny (at a distance of about 2 km from Odessa). Traffic there is also blocked.
It is noted that as of 14:00 p.m. in the Odesa region, the movement of all types of vehicles is prohibited on state highways M-15 Odesa - Reny, M-16 Odesa - Kuchurgan and on all local highways.
