In Odessa, there will be no scheduled power cuts in homes where there are oxygen-dependent people. Ekaterina Nozhevnikova, a volunteer and head of the "Monstrov Corporation" foundation, told about it on her Facebook page.
The other day, due to such a blackout, a person who was connected to an oxygen concentrator died in Odessa. About the problem was told in the chat of one of the OSMD in the village of Kotovskogo.
In order to prevent similar situations, DTEK "Odesskie Elektrosety" suggested that volunteers send them the address where oxygen-dependent people live every evening. There will be no more scheduled shutdowns in these houses.
"Literally in no time, a working group was created, a data submission system was established, and already in the morning more than 20 addresses submitted by us (addresses where patients with critically low saturations lie, for whom even 10 minutes of shutdown can end in tragedy) were excluded from the shutdown schedules." - wrote Ekaterina Nozhevnikova.
Now volunteers are preparing lists of addresses of patients of moderate severity and those who have been discharged from hospitals.
