The head of state said that he does not cling to ratings and power: "If I cannot end the war, then it is necessary for another person to come who is able to end this tragic story. A tragic history between our countries," he said.
Earlier, the President of Ukraine stated that it is impossible to end the armed conflict in Donbass without dialogue.
He emphasized that Ukrainians will never give up and in the matter of ending the war, they will "move forward and talk with Western partners and Russia in order to return people and territories."
