The Odessa city election commission decided to register ex-people's deputy Dmitry Golubov as a candidate for mayor of Odessa, as well as a list of candidates from the political party "Nash Kray" in the city council. A number of Odessa telegram channels reported that the commission made such a decision almost manually.
Note that on October 7, the election committee adopted a resolution on approving the text of the ballot papers. In the list of candidates for the post of Odessa mayor in the ballots already printed by the publishing house "Chernomorye" there are 23 names of candidates. Dmytro Golubov is not among them, as well as representatives of the "Nash Kray" party.
It should be noted that Dmytro Golubov, as well as the city-based political organization "Nash Kray" were removed from the election race by a court decision.
As a reminder, on October 2, the Odesa District Court heard a case regarding the illegal actions of members of the Odesa City Territorial Election Commission in relation to the candidate for the post of Odesa City Mayor Dmytro Golubov.
On the basis of the documents presented to the court, it became known that the selection committee registered Dmytro Golubov as a candidate in violation of electoral law. As it turned out, he made the necessary deposit for participation in the election race on behalf of the Odessa city organization of the Political Party "Block of Dmitry Golubov", but in fact the specified money was transferred by an outsider - Dmitry Viktorovich Palpatin.
Now there has been a new violation of the law on the part of the city election commission, which calls into question the possibility of holding elections in Odessa. In this case, the city assembly can be dissolved, and criminal cases can be opened against its members.
