Elections in the USA: Biden surges ahead

US President Donald Trump's chances for a second presidential term are becoming increasingly bleak

US President Donald Trump's chances for a second presidential term are becoming increasingly bleak.

Thus, according to the results of the processing of 94% of the ballots in the state of Michigan, the candidate for the leadership of the United States from the Democratic Party, Joe Biden, beat the current president, Donald Trump, although Trump previously led in the state.

In total, Biden still has 49,4% of the vote (2), Donald Trump has 502% (923). Thus, the candidate from the Democratic Party is ahead of his opponent by only 49,1%, although earlier Trump was confidently ahead.

A victory in Michigan will give Biden 16 electoral votes.

Note that Michigan is one of the key states where it is difficult to predict the victory of one of the candidates before the final vote count.
