Ukraine-NATO Interparliamentary Council opened in Odessa

A meeting of the Ukraine-NATO Interparliamentary Council, which gathered representatives of 12 states of the world, opened in Odessa.

At the meeting, they will discuss current problems of Ukraine-NATO cooperation. One of the main issues was the development of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the doctrine of the "Russian peace" in the Black Sea, and disinformation in Ukraine. The Crimean platform, as an instrument for the return of Crimea, also became the subject of discussions.

The event was attended by the first deputy head of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, Oleksandr Kornyenko, members of the NATO Parliamentary Assembly, and the vice-president of the Assembly, Attyla Meshterkhazy. Delegations from Greece, Latvia, Lithuania, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Spain, Turkey, Great Britain, deputies of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine and associated delegations from Georgia also came to Odessa.

Note that the Ukraine-NATO Interparliamentary Council will be held on October 26-27 in Odessa.
