The second round of mayoral elections is taking place in Chernivtsi

Observers are already recording the first violations

Repeat voting for the mayor's election will take place on November 29 in Chernivtsi. This was reported by the Central Election Committee.

Two candidates are included in the ballot: Roman Klychuk (nominated by the local organization of the political party "Edynaya Alternativa") and Vitaly Mykhailyshyn (nominated by the local organization of the political party "Mykhaylyshin's Team").

According to the results of voting in the elections on October 25, the specified candidates received the largest number of voters' votes. So, Klychuk won - 27,29% of votes, Mykhailyshyn - 21,33%.

A total of approximately 115 voters will be able to take part in the re-voting, which is held at 185,5 polling stations. voters

The election results must be announced by December 4.

Note that the observers of the OPORA civil network are already recording the first violations. Among them, there is an insufficient number of stationary and portable ballot boxes, as well as the placement of booths for people with disabilities and suspected viral diseases. In addition, in one of the precincts, the members of the precinct election commission have already filled out the vote counting protocol. The observers freed the police.
