People's deputy from OPZZ Ilya Kiva was given the title of candidate of sciences. This was reported by the politician himself.
This was facilitated by the commission of the Ministry of Education and Science. She left him with the academic degree of candidate of sciences. The deputy stated that the decision of the Ministry of Education and the decision of the current Minister of Internal Affairs will be legally appealed in court.
"During the search, the authorities forced the commission at the Ministry of Education to make a decision to strip me of the title of candidate of sciences on the basis that although there is no plagiarism in my dissertation, according to the commission's decision, there is no novelty. This is another formal reason for the power to discredit me," said Kyva.
Let's remind that the dissertation on the topic "Mechanisms of the influence of civil society on the state regulation of law enforcement activities (on the example of EU countries and Ukraine)" was defended by the People's Deputy in April of this year.
As you know, society was outraged by the fact that Kiva became a candidate of sciences. In social networks, Ukrainians wrote that they are now ashamed to indicate their doctor of science degree in their resumes. Several scientists in Ukraine have already burned their PhD diplomas as a sign of protest.
But that's not all. The Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, Denys Monastyrskyi, signed a decree depriving Ilya Kyva of a prize weapon for "indecent behavior". The official announced this on his Facebook page.
"Everyone must remember that a weapon is a responsibility. And having a prize weapon is a great honor and no one has the right to spoil this honor with unworthy behavior!" - said Monastyrsky.
As a reminder, Ilya Kiva Kiva previously posted a video on the social network in which he, with a machine gun in his hands, said that he was "the leader of the anti-fascist movement in Ukraine" and threatened "Bandera's followers." In conclusion, he fired a machine gun and set off fireworks.
