The newly appointed Deputy Minister of Infrastructure, Mustafa Nayem, will deal with structural divisions of the ministry responsible for road transportation.
On his Facebook page, Nayem explained how he would build his work in a new position and responded to his followers who were dissatisfied with his appointment.
According to Naeim, his team will work on the maximum digitization, issuance and accounting of licenses and permits, transparency of tenders for routes and liberalization of passenger transportation.
In the same post, Nayem sharply responded to his commentators, who pointed out to him that he is a journalist, not a politician, and that he has no experience in public administration.
Nayem said that he started his journalistic career 16 years ago, then for five years, starting in 2014, he was a deputy of the Verkhovna Rada and a member of the collegium of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
"I perfectly understand the intricacies of the work of the state apparatus - both as a journalist, and as a deputy, and as the head of a state-owned enterprise, and as an official. But everyone who cares about this more than Friday evening can continue their internal monologue and comment on my lack of experience right under this post. Meanwhile, I will continue to confirm my experience. See you at the barricades. I promise, it will be tough and fun," Nayem wrote.
We remind you that until April of this year, the former journalist worked as the deputy general director of Ukroboronprom. Later, Nayem, who was fired from Ukroboronprom, reported a salary of 3 million hryvnias. He received more than 800 thousand hryvnias every month.
