New deliveries of modern weapons to Ukraine were announced in Poland. About this сообщил Minister of Defense of Poland Mariusz Blaszczakt on his Twitter.
"At my request, the Council of Ministers adopted a resolution on aid to Ukraine. We will provide the most modern Polish equipment — Piorun portable anti-aircraft missile systems and ammunition," the minister wrote on Twitter.
It is known that the Polish "Piorun" provides effective firing at targets at a range of 400 to 6,5 km and at an altitude of 10 to 4 km. The rocket flies at a speed of 660 m/s. Only one shooter-operator is needed to carry and use the complex.
