The Budget Committee of the Verkhovna Rada approved the allocation of funds for the preparation of the population census of Ukraine, which will be held in 2023.
"The population census will be held in 2023. The Budget Committee of the Verkhovna Rada only agreed on the allocation of 82 million 474 thousand hryvnias for the preparation of the population census of Ukraine in 2023," noted People's Deputy Oleksiy Goncharenko.
In addition, it was previously reported that the census will also be conducted via the Internet. Ukrainians will be identified by phone number.
