Over the past few months, gas prices for industry have almost doubled. This calls into question the profitability of confectionery factories. Some of the companies in the industry have already informed the association "Ukrkondprom" about the reduction of the assortment and even the complete stop of production.
With such a cost price, sweets should be much more expensive, and buyers are not ready for this.
Some enterprises are looking for alternative ways to solve the problem and are preparing to switch to solid fuel. Analysts also predict a curtailment in the near future of other directions of production.
