Since May 20, 2019, the Security Service of Ukraine has opened six criminal cases related to attempts on the life and threats to kill the President of Ukraine.
As the special service reports, the Security Service conducted a pre-trial investigation in four cases regarding the attempt on the life of the president under Article 112 of the Criminal Code and in two cases regarding the facts of threats to kill, causing harm to the president's health under Article 346 of the Criminal Code.
At the same time, two cases under Art. 112 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine have already been closed due to the lack of a crime, and three are under investigation. One case under Art. 346 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine was sent to court with an indictment.
However, the SBU does not specify who exactly committed these offenses and the circumstances of the incidents.
Let us remind you that in 2020, the State Bureau of Investigation submitted criminal proceedings to the court against People's Deputy Sofya Fedyna (European Solidarity faction) and volunteer Marusa Zveroboy (Elena Sambul) regarding threats against Zelensky.
