A kindergarten was closed in the village of Dolynskoe in the Reni community of the Odesa region due to the death of a student. This is stated in the minutes of the special meeting of the TEB and Emergency Committee of the Reny city council on October 25.
In the local "Romashka" kindergarten, one of the students recently died - a 5-year-old girl. She died of pneumonia after an undiagnosed respiratory illness.
According to Marianna Chernya, the head of the institution, the girl was in kindergarten last Friday, but on the weekend the child suddenly became ill. The parents did not even have time to contact the doctors. The family itself is prosperous, the older children, sons, study in the 11th and 10th grades of the Dolyna school, and the girl still went to kindergarten.
"Parents are responsible, pay close attention to children's education and upbringing. The little daughter, who grew up as an active, peaceful child, pleased the family and everyone around her. She is always elegant, with beautiful bows... This is a great tragedy for all of us," says the director of the educational institution.
The pre-school institution switched to distance learning at the personal order of the commission.
