According to the resolution that was adopted by the Cabinet of Ministers today, January 21, students must be provided with constant health monitoring during their studies. Schools must conclude an agreement with medical institutions or have a medical worker on staff.
This was reported by the chief sanitary doctor of Ukraine Viktor Lyashko on his Facebook page.
Thus, according to the resolution "On the approval of the Procedure for the implementation of medical care for students in institutions of general and secondary education", initiated by the Ministry of Health, medical care in schools can be provided by full-time employees. Or, in the absence of such, schools must conclude an agreement with any health care institution.
Medical care in the educational institution involves a number of measures:
- implementation of control over the timeliness of preventive medical examination and vaccination;
- information on vaccination, prevention of infectious and non-infectious diseases, preservation of reproductive health, prevention of the spread among students of habits dangerous for their physical and mental health.
