The joint Ukrainian-Romanian military exercises Riverine-2020 with the participation of the Navy and border troops of the two countries began on Tuesday, September 8, in the Odesa region.
International naval exercises are taking place in the waters of the Danube between the Ukrainian city of Izmail and the Romanian city of Tulcea in order to prepare multinational ship-boat tactical groups for security operations on the Danube River.
It is noted that during the exercises, all tactical elements are developed according to NATO standards.
At the same time, a special feature of the current scientists will be the development of combat trawling of certain parts of the Danube water area and the reflection of an enemy air attack in the conditions of river navigation.
