The specialized anti-corruption prosecutor's office sent an indictment to the court against the former acting head of the State Reserve Agency and three other persons for causing almost UAH 200 million in damages.

It should be noted that the message does not indicate the name of the person involved, but, according to "EliteExpert", it is about Nikita Barabash.
"On October 12, 2023, the prosecutor of the SAP sent to the court an indictment against the former acting head of the State Reserve Agency of Ukraine, who, with the assistance of three other persons, in 2021, abusing his official position, using a known falsified property valuation report, sold at a known underestimate worth 18 tons of diesel fuel, which caused losses in the amount of UAH 180 million", - it is said in the report of the SAP.
We will remind, on August 31, 2022, the State Bureau of Investigation and the Kyiv City Prosecutor's Office informed Barabash about the suspicion. As established by the investigation, the suspect, holding the position of Acting Acting Officer in 2021. the head of the State Reserve and the head of the auction committee of the State Reserve, organized a criminal scheme for the sale of diesel fuel from the state reserve at a significantly reduced cost.
Thus, acting contrary to the interests of the service and with the aim of obtaining a benefit for another legal entity, the official sold 18 tons of diesel fuel from the state reserve at a price half the market price. At the same time, the suspect ignored the comments of the Ministry of Economic Development, Trade and Agriculture of Ukraine regarding the results of the assessment of the market value of this property before the auction. The specified illegal actions of the official caused losses to the state in the amount of UAH 000 million and negatively affected the defense capability of our country.
