Head of the Verkhovna Rada, Dmitry Razumkov, signed two draft laws. This year alone, UAH 1,4 billion will be allocated for the salaries of miners and the transfer of funds to the fund to combat the coronavirus. The second is the technical possibility of carrying out such a transaction.

"These laws define additional sources of funding for the Fund for Combating Acute Respiratory Disease COVID-19 in the amount of UAH 8,9 billion. In particular, to ensure the readiness and response of health care institutions to outbreaks of this disease, to provide medical care to patients, namely: the purchase of personal protective equipment, reagents, test systems, medical products, disinfectants, the purchase of medical and laboratory equipment for conducting laboratory and x-ray studies, implementation of effective and high-quality treatment, etc.,'' the message says.
Thus, the Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada signed the corresponding bills No. 4119 and No. 41120.
"Also, in the end, the issue of payment of wage arrears to miners was resolved. After all, now there is an opportunity to provide additional sources of financing for the restructuring of the coal industry in order to repay the salary arrears to employees of state-owned coal mining enterprises. In general, the coal industry will receive UAH 1,4 billion," the message added.
