A record number of countries will participate in the Sea Breeze-2021 exercises. This is reported by the US Embassy in Ukraine.
This year, 32 countries from 6 continents, 5000 soldiers, 32 ships, 40 aircraft and 18 special operations and diving teams will take part in the exercises.
The Sixth Fleet of the US Navy also announced its participation in the exercise.
"The USSixthFleet has officially announced its participation in the joint Ukrainian-American SeaBreeze 2021 annual exercise, which begins next week in the Black Sea region," the message says.
Diplomats noted that SeaBreeze training increases interoperability, strengthens maritime security and ensures peace in the region.
Sea Breeze exercises have been held on the territory of Ukraine since 1997. The organizers of the study are Ukraine and the USA.
Last year, to the Sea Breeze-2020 exercises attracted about 2 thousand people from eight countries, more than 20 ships, as well as airplanes and helicopters.
