Today, November 30, a meeting will be held in the President's Office, at which the authorities of Ukraine will discuss whether it is necessary to tighten the quarantine.
This was reported by the press service of the head of state.
So, representatives of the Cabinet of Ministers responsible for the fight against Covid-19 will gather at the meeting. In particular, the Ministry of Health, the Ministry of Economic Development, Trade and Agriculture, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, and the National Security and Defense Council.
At the traditional conference call, President Volodymyr Zelensky said that the results of the meeting will be promptly announced in order to inform Ukrainians in advance.
"We need to decide on realistic forecasts in order to understand whether our medical system and our economy will withstand the load. We have developed an economic aid program, we are constantly improving the health care system. It is necessary for both business and people to be ready if the government considers that a harsh quarantine cannot be avoided," Zelensky said.
