The Turkish TV channel TGRT showed on the air a map based on, as journalists claim, forecasts of the American private intelligence company Stratfor. It shows the territories that will be under the influence of Turkey by 2050.
The list of these territories includes, among others, Crimea and eastern Ukraine, including the entire Donbass.
The Startfor company, according to Turkish mass media, predicts, that Turkey will also expand its sphere of influence to the Balkans, North Africa, the Middle East, Transcaucasia, Central Asia, and also part of Russia. On the map, it was possible to see that the republics of the North Caucasus, Krasnodar and Stavropol regions were in Ankara's zone of interest.
In addition, Libya, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Iraq, Syria, Greece, Cyprus, Armenia, Georgia, Azerbaijan, Yemen and the UAE are supposed to fall into Turkey's sphere of influence.
The image of the card also appeared in other Turkish mass media, the Takvim daily newspaper and the Haber TV channel.
