The "Lutsky terrorist" does not admit guilt and demands to interrogate Zelensky

It is also reported that the suspect did not admit his guilt in court.

Maksym Kryvosh, who seized a bus with hostages in Lutsk, submitted a petition to the prosecution to include the interrogation of the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyi and General of the National Police Evgeny Koval as a witness to the case.

It is reported by "Suspilne".

"During the hearing, Kryvosh submitted a request to the prosecution to include in the case the interrogation of Vladimir Zelensky and General of the National Police Yevgeny Koval, who conducted negotiations with Kryvosh on July 21, 2020. It is not yet known whether the prosecutor's office will grant the request," the message says.

It is also reported that the suspect did not admit his guilt in court.

"I don't admit it at all. That is, I do not and will never admit guilt before the court, before the system, before the authorities. There is a second fault - before the hostages. But this is my personal matter," said Kryvosh.

It is noted that the pre-trial investigation in the case expires on February 2. SBU investigator Ivan Lyashuk asked the court to extend his term. Now there is a stage of familiarization with the materials of the criminal proceedings. Not all victims had time to familiarize themselves with them.

In addition, the Lutsk district court of the Volyn region continued Kryvosha's detention for 60 days, but no longer than the period of the pre-trial investigation, without determining the amount of bail.

Let us remind you that on the morning of July 21 last year in the center of Lutsk, a man with explosives and a weapon seized a bus with hostages. Long negotiations were held with the terrorist, in which, in particular, President Zelensky took part. Later, he deleted the video, which he published at the request of the terrorist.

As a result of the operation, law enforcement officers detained Maksym Kryvosh. The SBU reported the release of 13 terrorist hostages in Lutsk.
