At today's meeting, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine approved a draft resolution that allows owners of cars with European license plates to be held accountable.
People's deputy from "Servants of the People" Yevgeny Brahar reported this on Facebook.
At the same time, the parliamentarian reminded that at the end of last year, AvtoEvrosyla and the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Arsen Avakov, signed a memorandum "on not holding the owners of cars with European registration to account until the adoption of the law on affordable customs clearance."
It should be noted that a fine of UAH 8 is provided for late customs clearance of a commercial or personal car with Euro license plates in Ukraine, and UAH 500 in case of a repeated violation.
