A new cruise to Romania starts from Izmail

A tour of the Romanian Danube Delta will also be possible for Ukrainian tourists

Izmail will be the starting point of a new cruise - "Opening of Romania", which will start in June from the berth of the Izmail marine station. Mayor Andrey Abramchenko announced this on his Facebook page.

A cruise lasting four days and three nights will introduce travelers to Izmail and the Romanian part of the Danube Delta (along the mouth of St. George). The cruise program is made taking into account the requests of all age groups, including supporters of family vacations.

As planned, a tour of the Romanian Danube Delta will also be possible for Ukrainian tourists. On June 11 at 11.00 a.m., a presentation of possible tours for Ukrainian travel agencies will take place. The first round is scheduled for June 28.

"This cruise is a continuation of the work on increasing the tourist potential of Izmail within the framework of the Cooperation Agreement signed on May 23, 2019 by the municipal institution of the Izmail City Council "Investment Assistance Bureau" and the Association of Management of Tourist Destinations and Objects of the Danube Delta (Romania)," Abramchenko noted.

We would like to remind you that within the framework of this Agreement, starting from April 2021, the cruise ship Diana under the Dutch flag will be moored weekly in Izmail with tourists on board.
