"Since October 10, 30% of Ukrainian power plants have been destroyed, which has led to massive power outages across the country," the president said.
As a result of the terrorist attack, energy infrastructure facilities in the central and northern regions of Ukraine were damaged. About 600 settlements were left without electricity.
Ukrenergo repair crews are working on eliminating the consequences. The situation in the power system is under control. However, the Ukrenergo Dispatch Center does not rule out the possibility of introducing emergency shutdown schedules. Therefore, it is important to adhere to the regime of frugal electricity consumption throughout the country, especially in the evening hours.
Currently, the energy system of Ukraine needs time to recover and significant loads are contraindicated for it.
The following devices are the most energy-consuming:
- electric heaters;
- boilers;
- kitchen electric stove;
- microwave;
- washing machine;
- electric oven;
- electric kettle (coffee maker);
- iron;
- Dishwashers;
- air conditioning;
- vacuum cleaner;
- TV.
When Ukrainians turn off the iron and the heater in the evening, do not turn on the laundry, the control center of "Ukrenergo" immediately sees how the total consumption in the country decreases.
This means that the power system, which is attacked by the enemy every day, is easier for the dispatchers to balance in the evening hours. And there is no need for specialists to apply forced restrictions on consumption.
Reduce the use of such devices in the evening, but use them after 23 pm or at lunchtime.
