The Kyiv City State Administration gave recommendations on how to preserve products in case of long-term power outages
— Make the necessary supply of drinking water and clarify the information about the pump stations closest to your house.
— Prepare a stock of food products that do not require special storage conditions (bread, cookies, bagels, canned goods, etc.).
— Try to prepare food products in small quantities so as not to store them for a long time.
— When buying food products in stores, give preference to those that lose less quality without a refrigerator (milk for long-term storage in tetrapacks, raw smoked sausages, etc.).
— Buy thermal packs with cooling elements, keep them close at hand.
- If possible, stock up on hot drinks in thermoses.
— When turning off the light to store food in the refrigerator, try to open it less often.
You can also store products on the balcony. Please note that perishable products, as usual, are stored at a temperature of +4°C.
