According to the head of OVA Vitaly Kim, the occupiers got into a five-story residential building. As a result of the impact, floors 5 to 1 were destroyed.
Volodymyr Zelenskyy commented on the attack by the occupiers:
"Mykolayiv. The terrorist state's cynical response to our successes at the front. A blow to a five-story residential building. Destroyed from 5 to 1 floors. Unfortunately, there are dead and wounded. Search and rescue operations continue. Russia does not stop its despicable tactics. And we do not stop our struggle. The occupiers will answer for every crime against Ukraine and Ukrainians," the president said.
As a result of the shelling, the occupiers left a 16-year-old boy from Mykolaiv an orphan. His parents were found under the rubble of a five-story building. The boy is being handled by the social service.
At the moment, 7 victims are known as a result of the cynical attack. Search and rescue operations are underway.
