Foreign passports and ID cards for Ukrainians will be produced in Poland

On the territory of Poland, Ukrainian refugees can issue a foreign passport and an ID card, the First Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Yevhen Yenin announced.

Currently, a test project has been launched in Warsaw. Applications are being accepted now, but the first documents will be ready in early August. The deadline for producing documents is 45 days.

"With the support of our Ministry of Foreign Affairs, we started a pilot project in Warsaw just three days ago. To date, there are four buses that have left and are accepting applications from our citizens to obtain IDs or foreign passports. The first documents will be available at the beginning of August. Taking into account the logistics in wartime, the deadline for the production of urgent documents will be up to 20 days, and in the usual order - up to 40-45 days," Yenin said.
