Today, in the Odessa Regional Council, with the participation of the Chief of the Humanitarian Staff of the Regional Military Administration, Anatoly Vorokhaev, and the First Deputy Chairman of the Odessa Regional Council, Oleg Radkovsky, a meeting was held with volunteer organizations of Odessa, which are engaged in providing food for the terror defense of the city and communities of the region, pensioners, low-income citizens and families with many children.
As Oleg Radkovsky, the first deputy chairman of the Odesa Regional Council, said, from the first days of the aggression against Ukraine, volunteers took on the issue of providing food to the territorial defense units, pensioners and socially unprotected sections of the population of our region.
"Today, we discussed with the volunteer organizations of Odessa the priority issues for establishing effective interaction between them and the local authorities," Oleg Radkovsky said, "Our volunteers do a very important job - they feed our city's defense forces, support pensioners and large families, for which we thank them very much." For our part, we will help them in solving all the issues that depend on us as authorities, for help and effective work."
Also, at the meeting, the volunteers created the Association of Volunteers "Odessa invincible", which was headed by Mikhail Sosnovsky.
Oleh Radkovskii also added that regular and constant communication with volunteers will make it possible to use the available help and resources more effectively and provide it exactly where it is needed.
