Today, celebrations for the Day of the National Guard of Ukraine took place near the monument to Duke in Odesa.
The event was attended by city officials Gennadiy Trukhanov, first deputy head of Odesa Regional State Administration Borys Voloshenkov, first deputy head of the regional council Oleg Radkovskii, head of the Oblast Regional State Police Mykola Semenyshyn and others.
Representatives of the city and regional authorities congratulated the National Guardsmen on their professional holiday and presented certificates and awards for their service.
This year, the holiday is celebrated in military conditions, so all the words of congratulations acquire much more meaning.
