To the 31st anniversary of the Independence of Ukraine, on August 24, Ukrposhta issued a postal block "FREE. UNBREAKABLE INVINCIBLE", which included a stamp with a Ukrainian soldier and 6 illustrations showing the last 6 months of the great 8-year war of the Ukrainian people against the invaders.
Each of the illustrations is a separate tragic story of Ukrainians. They are united by one word - "WAR":
✓A woman standing in a high-rise building on the ruins of a destroyed apartment;
✓a mother with a child hiding from rocket attacks in the subway;
✓a girl in front of a pile of burnt civilian cars;
✓a dramatic theater in Mariupol with the signal inscription "CHILDREN";
✓ Sviatohorsk Lavra, which was repeatedly attacked by the occupiers;
The author of the postal block is Anton Khrupin, a young Ukrainian designer from Kramatorsk.
The special repayment in Odesa was conducted by the Head of the Odesa Regional Military Administration Maksym Marchenko, the head of the Odesa Oblast Council Hryhoriy Didenko and the director of the Odesa Directorate of "Ukrposhta" Serhiy Drozd.
