This afternoon, the enemy attacked the Odesa sea trade port with Kalibr-type cruise missiles, reported the OC "South".
Two missiles were shot down by anti-aircraft defense forces, two hit the port's infrastructure facilities.
The spokesman of the department, Oleg Nikolenko, said that the shelling calls into question the agreements signed less than 24 hours ago in Istanbul on the export of Ukrainian grain:
"The Russian missile is Vladimir Putin's spit in the face of UN Secretary General António Guterres and President of Turkey Recep Erdogan, who made enormous efforts to reach an agreement, and to whom Ukraine is grateful," Oleg Nikolenko wrote on his Facebook page.
According to Nikolenko, Ukraine calls on the UN and Turkey to ensure that Russia complies with its obligations regarding the safe functioning of the grain corridor.
