Journalist and TV presenter Ksenia Sobchak has left Russia, state media reported with reference to sources. According to their data, Sobchak was supposed to be detained as part of the investigation of a criminal case initiated against its commercial director, Kyryl Sukhanov.
Official reports about the criminal case and the possible arrest of Sobchak have not yet appeared, but state news agencies are actively publishing details with reference to law enforcement sources.
"She left Moscow at night [on Tuesday]. At the same time, she bought air tickets online to Dubai yesterday, and to Turkey today. She did this to confuse the operatives. As a result, she entered Lithuania through Belarus," TARS quoted an anonymous source as saying. According to him, operatives had the investigator's order to detain Sobchak, but she managed to escape.
