The newly appointed Minister of Infrastructure of Poland, Dariusz Klimczak, said that the protest of carriers at the border with Ukraine is a "Gordian knot that has been dragging on." This is reported RAR.
According to him, the inaction of the predecessors of the Polish government led to such a situation on the Polish-Ukrainian border. He also stated that it will be quite difficult to solve the problem with carriers.
"This is the first time that we can even begin to discuss the agreement on the liberalization of transport. We know that this agreement is a bone of contention, because of which carriers are protesting at the border," — said Klimchak.
He also announced a meeting with Ukrainian Minister Oleksandr Kubrakov and said that he talks to the protesters every day.
"We are looking for a common denominator, based on which we can at least suspend the protest" - he said.
