SAP notes that the prosecutor announced a summary of the indictment at the court hearing. The next meeting, at which the parties are scheduled to make introductory speeches, is scheduled for January 17.01.2024, XNUMX.
It should be recalled, the Odesa mayor and other persons are accused of embezzling budget funds in the amount of more than 92 million UAH as a result of the implementation of the scheme of acquisition of the premises of the administrative building of the former "Krayan" plant into communal ownership at a double inflated price.
Since October 2018, this case has been considered in the Malinovsky District Court of the city of Odesa.
On July 4, 2019, the Malinovsky District Court of the city of Odesa announced the acquittal of the Odesa mayor and other persons.
On February 11, 2021, the Appeals Chamber of the Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce and Industry approved the appeals of the SAP prosecutors regarding the annulment of the acquittal of the Malinovsky District Court of the city of Odesa and the referral of the case to the Higher Anti-Corruption Court for a new hearing.
