"So that Ukrainians do not pay additional fees for communication in Europe, and Europeans - in Ukraine. The EU Council approved the proposal and gave the "green light" for a bilateral solution. Prices for Ukrainians to call relatives in Europe will decrease," he noted.
As the Minister of Digital Transformation of Ukraine Mykhailo Fedorov notes, this "gives the green light for a bilateral solution" in the future. Further, the final agreement must be approved by the Association Committee in the trade warehouse. The team of the Ministry of Digital, NKEK, operators and the telecom regulator are working to ensure that Ukraine joins the Roam like at home zone as soon as possible.
Adoption of new rules and laws will allow Ukrainians not to pay additional fees for communication in Europe, and Europeans - in Ukraine.
