Oleg Radkovskii, the first deputy head of the Odesa Regional Council, and Mykhailo Pozhivanov, the ex-mayor of Mariupol, who currently heads the Odesa "Batkivshchyna" office center, visited the city of Teplodar and met with the city's mayor Oleksandr Chuyko and his first deputy Andrii Makovetsky.
As Oleh Radkovskii said, at the meeting with the mayor of Teplodar, they discussed the city's development prospects and the possibility of creating new jobs.
"First of all, it is necessary to rebuild and restore the railway connection so that the city can become a cluster for the location of industrial enterprises from the occupied territories, especially since Teplodar already has a large area prepared for this. Another important issue for the city is the construction of housing for immigrants, of whom there are quite a lot in the community," Oleg Radkovskyi said.
In addition, the politicians discussed the support of this direction from the regional council with the deputy mayor Andrii Makovetsky, who is engaged in the development of children's sports.
Also within the scope of the visit, the politicians visited the enterprise "DONDEREVINA" of Serhii Bilyuk, who is a deputy of the Bilyaiv community and heads the branch of the "Batkivshchyna" party of the Odesa district of the region. Serhiy Bilyuk's company is located in Teplodar and has been engaged in the production of fuel pellets and brackets for many years.
"It is very gratifying to see that despite the war, the enterprise is working and providing fuel not only to Odesa, but also to other regions of Ukraine. It is important that all jobs are preserved at the enterprise and wages are paid on time," added Oleh Radkovskyi.
