Geopolitical changes caused by Russia's attack on Ukraine became the main topic Forum of the International Democratic Union, which is currently taking place in Berlin.
Its participants are legislators, party leaders and opinion leaders from around the world.
Yulia Tymoshenko, head of the "Batkivshchyna" party, was one of the participants of the forum from the Ukrainian side. In her speech, she emphasized that Ukrainians will never forgive, will not agree to any capitulation agreements with the enemy, and will not allow evil to go unpunished.
"For more than four months, the biggest war in Europe since the Second World War has been going on. Our peaceful, democratic and beautiful country, which has never threatened anyone or anything, is being brutally shot at close range today," Tymoshenko stressed.
According to the politician, to stop Putin's barbaric regime, the world needs a new world order that is logical and fair. This is the way to create a broad, open, accessible unity of the free peoples of the world. True unity, bound by common interests, common goals and values, common institutions and a common system. Terrorist countries, aggressors who threaten the whole world should temporarily remain outside such a community, the leader of Batkivshchyna is convinced.
Creating a new world order requires simple criteria that define a country as free and peaceful; all international organizations responsible for peace and justice must be reformed; NATO can no longer remain a "club for the chosen ones", but must become the defender of all countries that sincerely aspire to live in the world; it is necessary for all international platforms – from the UN Security Council to the European Union – to replace the consensus principle of decision-making with the principle of qualified majority; it is necessary to repeatedly strengthen international control and the inevitable responsibility of the bloody leaders before humanity, - said the parliamentarian.
Yulia Tymoshenko met with the head of the Munich Security Conference, Christopher Heusgen, as part of the forum.

Christopher Huisgen considers the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine to be inviolable. He expressed support for our country at a time when Ukrainians are fighting not only for their freedom, but also for the democratic future of all of Europe.
