In Kyiv, the curfew will not be changed during the New Year holidays. About this said head of the Kyiv city military administration, colonel-general Serhiy Popko.
"The curfew, as determined, will be in the city of Kyiv from 00:00 to five in the morning," — he declared.
Popko said that on December 3, installation work on the installation of the Christmas tree began on Sofiyivska Square.
"The opening will be on December 6 - Saint Nicholas Day. The Christmas tree will be installed exclusively at the expense of patrons — without spending budgetary funds on arranging the New Year's beauty and on electricity," — he noted.
According to the decision of the Kyiv Defense Council, there will be no mass and entertainment events in the capital on holidays. New Year's fairs are also not planned.
