The unity of the Ukrainian people today captivates the whole world. From the first days, volunteers all over Ukraine and, in particular, in the Odesa region, have shown true miracles of organization. Yulia Tymoshenko, head of the Batkivshchyna party, came to Odesa to help and support the volunteer movement.
Together with Oleg Radkovskiy, the head of the Odesa regional office center, they also met with representatives of the volunteer team "Women's Help-Odesa Squad".
"Most of them are engaged in volunteer activities, create a reliable rear, provide fighters and forced migrants with food, clothes, help, rescue animals. Here, everyone has their own area of responsibility. Odessa women remind me of indomitable Amazons," Yulia Tymoshenko said in an interview with the mass media.
Yuliya Volodymyrivna also visited the Fontansk community of the Odesa district and met with the volunteer association "Unbreakable Odeschyna", where more than a thousand hot meals are prepared every day for the soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and territorial defense.
"I was impressed by the fact that none of the volunteers are professional cooks, but they work without days off, and they cook beautifully and deliciously, and even on the bright holiday of Easter, they pleased our defenders with festive dishes," added Yulia Tymoshenko.
The politician spoke with the head of the Fontansk OTG Nataliya Krupitsa, who told about the work in the community regarding the accommodation and support of forced migrants: upon registration in the OTG, people immediately receive targeted assistance - food kits, medicine, etc. To date, 630 displaced persons have been registered in the OTG.
In addition, the Leader of the "Motherland" visited our defenders in the Odesa military hospital and handed over important equipment and medicines to the medical institution.
"We saw real heroes with the strongest fighting spirit. Some wounded fighters need prosthetics. As soon as they can be fitted with prostheses, we will organize the opportunity to go to the best Western clinics and provide them with modern prostheses. They will definitely be able to return to normal life," the politician added.
