The leaders of the European Union today, February 1, during the summit, approved the allocation of 50 billion euros for Ukraine within the framework of the Ukraine Facility program. This was announced by the Chairman of the European Council, Charles Michel v Twitter.
"We agreed. All 27 leaders agreed on an additional 50-billion-dollar support package for Ukraine within the EU budget. This ensures sustainable, long-term, predictable financing for Ukraine.", - wrote Michel.
He added that the EU assumes leadership and responsibility in supporting Ukraine.
"We know what's at stake," — added the head of the European Council.
