The countries of the European Union adopted the tenth package of sanctions against Russia late in the evening on February 24. The decision was announced by the Swedish Presidency of the Council of the EU.
"Together, EU member states imposed the strongest and most extensive sanctions in history to help Ukraine win the war. The EU is united with Ukraine and the Ukrainian people. We will support Ukraine for as long as it takes," the message reads.
The new package includes restrictions on exports to Russia of dual-use products and technology, targeted restrictions against individuals and entities that support war, spread propaganda or supply drones, as well as measures to counter Russian disinformation.
