From Monday, the energy system of the entire Ukraine will be able to switch from emergency power outages to stabilization ones
This was announced by the director of energy programs of the Razumkov Center, Volodymyr Omelchenko.
He emphasized that today the energy industry managed to additionally start up one power unit of the Khmelnytsky NPP with a capacity of 1 GW.
They repaired some high-voltage power lines and restored transformers.
"This will allow the unified energy system of Ukraine to work from tomorrow and switch from emergency shutdowns to stabilization shutdowns," Omelchenko emphasized.
We will remind you that since October, Russia has been massively attacking energy infrastructure facilities.
Power plants and node substations were destroyed. Therefore, emergency power outages are still operating almost throughout the country.
