The Verkhovna Rada created a temporary special commission (TSC) for the preliminary consideration of issues of violation of legislation that led to crisis phenomena in the energy market of Ukraine on the eve and during the armed aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine.
It was headed by a People's Deputy of the "Batkivshchyna" faction Oleksiy Kucherenko.
According to the deputy, today it is necessary to immediately analyze the results of the so-called "reforms", the specific actions of certain officials, managers, institutes, find out why exactly they led to the energy crisis and propose an action plan to the Verkhovna Rada and the Government.
In addition to the establishment of TSK, the Verkhovna Rada voted on the Laws on the "moratorium on raising tariffs for kerosene and heat".
"Tariffs and prices for gas have been kept at the previous level, the threat of confiscation of communal property from cities and communities has been removed, the need for a state audit of Naftogaz and its subsidiaries and the publication of the gas balance has been legally ensured. - said Oleksiy Kucherenko, - In addition, after almost two months of fierce struggle, we managed to prevent the legalization of the corruption scheme of withdrawing a colossal amount of 264 billion hryvnias from the budget by Naftogaz."
Probably, after the work of the commission, personnel decisions will be made regarding the management of Naftogaz.
