The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, proposes to make Kharkiv the Ukrainian Silicon Valley. He wrote about this in his Telegram channel.
The head of state noted that Kharkiv is often called the student and scientific capital.
"Our task is to make the region also the capital of the defense industry, machine-building and IT, a kind of Ukrainian Silicon Valley," the president said.
As a reminder, Silicon Valley is located in the American state of California, where the headquarters of international high-tech corporations, including Apple, Facebook and Google, are located.
